Evoke is honored to continue our long-standing partnership with the Virginia International Tattoo, a premier military tattoo and the signature event of the Virginia Arts Festival.

Held each year in Norfolk, Virginia since 1997, the Tattoo showcases military bands, massed pipes and drums, military drill teams, Celtic dancers, and choirs from around the world, presented in collaboration with NATO and the Norfolk NATO Festival.

As the largest show of its kind in the United States, the Virginia International Tattoo welcomes over 38,000 attendees annually, including more than 16,000 local students at the annual student matinees. It was recognized as one of the American Bus Association's Top North American Events for 2016 and is one of the seven founding members of the International Association of Tattoo Organizers (IATO).

Evoke Collaborative was proud to design the lighting for the 2025 Virginia International Tattoo, our fifth production with the event following 2019, 2022, 2023, and 2024.
